The second stage of the Deutschland Tour, from Heilbronn to Schwäbisch Gmünd, was a complete success for the Saarland-based team. On a challenging, hilly course, Eritrean Dawit Yemane made it into the decisive breakaway group, collected mountain points, and took the lead in the mountain classification.
