Today's 6th stage of Toour du Cameroun led over 157 kilometers from Douala to Kribi on mostly hilly terrain. A very challenging stage to defend the jerseys as on this terrain it is always possible that unexpected things can happen.
But quite early of the day a promising break-away with 5 guys went and none of them was dangerous for the GC. The boys from BIKE AID let them go and controlled the rest of the bunch until the finish where Meron Teshome could take a 7th place today.
The overall standings remain unchanged. In the GC Niko Holler is still leading in front of the Moroccan Salah Eddine Marouni and the Dutch rider Adne van Engelen, while Suleiman Kangangi (7th in GC) still leads the best climbers classification.
