Holler and Carstensen extend contracts with BIKE AID

The German professional team BIKE AID enters its sixth season in 2019 and two of the top riders remain on board: Lucas Carstensen and Nikodemus Holler extend their contracts.
 

It has been again so far another incredible season for team BIKE AID with many top results and good performances.  In a ranking on Procyclingstats.com team BIKE AID ranks currently on place 11 among all 175 UCI Continental teams worldwide with still the opportunity to move tot he top 5.

Both, Nikodemus Holler and Lucas Carstensen had a big share on these achievments. Both have now extend their contracts with the German team and also ride in 2019 for team BIKE AID.

„We are happy that both riders stay with us as the two had an incredibly good season and for sure there are many teams looking after them. Both are a very important pillar in our team and the more important it is to keep them on board“, Timo Schäfer (team coordinator) said.

Holler could win two stages at this year’s Tour of Hungary (UCI 2.1) where he finihed 5th overall and also finished almost all stage races around the top 10. In Gbon (UCI 2.1) he took the 2nd place overall and in Morocco (UCI 2.2) he finihed 3rd on the podium.

Lucas Carstensen’s strenght ist o sprint. He won the first stage in Gabon (UCI 2.1) and stage 5 at the prestigueos Tour of Ireland this year. He also finished another 8 times on the podium in professional races and many other Top 5 results.
